FMU hosts STEM Day for high schoolers

Francis Marion University will host STEM Day, a day-long program where high school juniors and seniors can participate in hands-on learning activities, on Friday, February 9. The camp will start at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 2:00 p.m.

Students will partake in activities in various STEM fields, including biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, environmental science, mathematics and physics. Open to high school juniors and seniors, students in the program will also learn more about what it is like to be a STEM major at FMU.

On Saturday, February 10, FMU will host a family STEM Day, where families and the general public can participate in experiential learning activities with FMU faculty and students from STEM fields and learn about Francis Marion’s programs. Family STEM Day will also run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
