FMU School of Business honors Drulis with Outstanding Alumni Award

Francis Marion University’s School of Business honored Cherry Drulis with the 2024 Morgan B. Coker Outstanding Alumni award at its annual alumni reception held at the FMU Performing Arts Center in downtown Florence Tuesday night.

Drulis serves as the Director of Healthcare Mobile B2B for Samsung Electronics America. As a registered nurse in multiple states with experience in frontline care, medical product development, and hospital management, Drulis is well-positioned to help connect healthcare challenges to Samsung’s digital ecosystem. 

Prior to working for Samsung, Drulis led the Healthcare Industry Vertical for T-Mobile, served as an Executive Clinical Consultant for IBM Watson Health, was vice president of clinical practice for Stoltenberg Consulting, and worked as a chief nursing officer. 

Drulis received a Master of Business Administration from FMU in 2008. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. She and her husband reside in Johnsonville, SC.

The Morgan B. Coker Outstanding Alumni Award is named for Morgan Coker, the first dean of FMU’s School of Business. This award is one of the top honors that can be bestowed upon a graduate of the school.
