Campus Life at FMU

While known for academic excellence, education at Francis Marion University doesn’t end in the classroom.  We recognize that your entire college experience is crucial to our mission of preparing you for life.

Opportunities abound to become involved on campus. Active involvement in campus life allows FMU students to make life-long friends, discover talents, develop leadership skills, and create lasting memories while having fun.  Through participating in one or more of the 60-plus student organizations, attending social events or lectures, going to athletic games, or becoming involved in campus projects such as theater productions or  community service organizations, FMU students become actively engaged in their collegiate experience.

For many FMU students, one of their toughest decisions is what activity to get involved with first. By the time they graduate, our students have learned just how rewarding pursuing a college degree can be.
