The Environmental Science and Studies Program offers a minor (18 hours) and a collateral (12 hours) in biology for other College of Liberal Arts majors.

Environmental Science and Studies Minor

Minor Requirements (18 hours)

  • ENVR 101: Introduction to Environmental Science (4)
  • At least fourteen additional hours of Environmental Science and Studies Courses listed below. (14)
    • No more than 12 hours can be below the BIOL 199 level.
    • No more than two classes from any one discipline.
    • Courses from a specific department may not count towards that department’s Majors and the Environmental Science and Studies Minor at the same time.

Environmental Science and Studies Collateral

Collateral Requirements (12 hours)

  • ENVR 101: Introduction to Environmental Science (4)
  • At least eight additional hours of Environmental Science and Studies Courses listed below. (14)
    • No more than 8 hours can be below the BIOL 199 level.
    • No more than two classes from any one discipline.
    • Courses from a specific department may not count towards that department’s Majors and the Environmental Science and Studies Collateral at the same time.
