Cares Act- HEERF – Student Aid Reporting

Following the guidance provided by the United States Department of Education, Francis Marion University distributed the CARES Act funding to students with the greatest financial need as demonstrated by their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The initial allocation of funds were distributed in a timely manner and are intended to help these students offset expenses directly related to disruptions to their education due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Future allocations will be made on a case-by-case basis to students who did not receive funds in the initial cycle and demonstrate financial need. The office of Financial Assistance is facilitating this process until the funds are exhausted.
